Target Species

We target a mix of iconic species inshore, nearshore, and offshore.

Red Snapper

Red Snapper are one of the Gulf's most prized sportfish! We can only target them on seasonal trips—typically in June and July—by heading past our barrier islands to bottom fish around artificial reefs for these incredibly tasty fish.

Sharks

We frequently catch sharks across all of our fishing styles, particularly while bottom fishing. The most common shark we encounter is the Blacktip Shark, which tends to linger around our structure-rich, bait-filled waters.

Sea Trout

We commonly catch two species of sea trout from the drum family in our local waters—speckled trout and white trout. These fish are primarily caught inshore during the colder months and are excellent eating!

Mackerel

We catch two species of mackerel—Spanish and King Mackerel—during the warm-water months of summer and fall while trolling around the barrier islands. These fish fight incredibly hard and are excellent for the smoker!

Cobia

Cobia are migratory in our waters. We target them around the barrier islands during the warm summer months, but fishing can be unpredictable due to their migration. We usually target them by freelining live bait or jigging.

Redfish

We catch slot Redfish year-round, but during the summer months, giant schools of trophy Bull Reds gather on the surface around our barrier islands. This offers some of the most exciting trophy fishing opportunities in Biloxi!
