Biloxi Barrier Islands
$850-$1,100
Our barrier islands provide great fishing all season long! These trips offer a unique and scenic angling experience that combines exciting fishing with the natural beauty of the Mississippi Sound. We run these trips from May through the end of our season in October. Occasionally, we’re able to get out earlier in March or April, but strong spring winds often make that difficult.
During our barrier island trips, we’re either trolling, bottom fishing, or a mix of both! We customize each trip based on what your group wants to do and target—the bite changes daily, so we like to stay flexible and adapt to the conditions.
Target Seasons & Species
We offer these trips starting in May and running through the end of our season in October. Occasionally, we’re able to get out earlier in March or April, but strong spring winds usually keep us closer to shore.
The main species we target include Redfish (especially the massive schools of Bull Reds in the summer!), Cobia, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, and Sharks.
To catch the mackerels, we’ll need to be trolling. Cobia, in particular, can be hit or miss—they migrate through our waters and are often unpredictable.
Where We Go
Departing from our harbor in Biloxi, we take anglers 10–15 miles out to the nearby barrier islands—such as Ship Island, Horn Island, and Cat Island—where the waters are rich with a variety of inshore and nearshore species. These islands create ideal fishing conditions by serving as natural breakwaters, offering calm waters and vibrant habitats for fish to thrive.
